Join History Cherokee for an Exciting Summer Camp Adventure!
Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your kids learning this summer? Join History Cherokee for Summer Camp, happening June 16 – 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day! Campers will explore history through STEAM-based activities that connect to the fascinating exhibits at the Cherokee County History Center.
Camper Ages: 8-11 years
Each day includes:
📖 A themed talk
🛠️ Hands-on activities
🏛️ Time in the museum galleries
🍽️ Lunch break (campers must bring their own lunch and water bottle)
Camp Highlights:
🔹 World War II Code Breakers – Campers will create and decipher secret codes just like real wartime cryptographers!
🌾 Agriculture Day – Discover the roots of farming and its impact on Cherokee County history.
Cost:
💲 $30 per day or $120 for the full week
