Fall Family Fun at the North Georgia State Fair

As the largest fair in metro Atlanta, the Superior Plumbing Presents North Georgia State Fair attracts 300,000 people every year from north Georgia and neighboring states. The fair features live music, free attractions and shows, farm animals, flower shows, blue ribbon competitions, local entertainment, and delicious fair foods.  There are also games and rides on the Great James H. Drew Exposition midway– one of the largest carnival Midways in the United States, featuring the Wildcat Rollercoaster, Georgia Mountain Lift and the Mega Slide. What: 87th Annual Superior Plumbing Presents North Georgia State Fair

When: Thursday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, September 29, 2019

Monday through Thursday 4 to 11 p.m., Fridays 4 p.m. to midnight

Saturdays 10 a.m., to midnight, and Sundays 12:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

FREE CONCERTS:

A covered arena guarantees concerts rain or shine, including appearances by great country and contemporary Christian artists. Headlining the Carl Black Kennesaw Concert Series this year are: Jeremy Camp on Friday, September 20; Mitchell Tenpenny on Saturday, September 21; Lee Brice on Wednesday, September 25; Tyler Farr on Thursday, September 26; Lanco on Friday, September 27; Caleb Lee Hutchinson opening for Travis Denning on Saturday, September 28.  Concerts FREE with fair admission.

NEW FOR 2019:

  • K-9’s in Flight: Audiences of all ages will be entertained by this non-stop, action-packed performance showcasing the top amazing K-9 sports, including K-9 high jump and Frisbee all in a fun, high-flying atmosphere.
  • King BMX Stunt Show: This BMX Stunt Show is proven entertainment for kids & adults alike. Performance features high-flying aerial stunts and mind-boggling technical moves.
  • Ninja Experience: This amazing team of martial arts experts has been wowing audiences around the world with high-flying, jaw-dropping performances that showcase an extraordinary display of extreme breaking and theatrics. This team has been featured on America’s Got Talent and will bring you a show like you’ve never seen before!
  • Sandscapes: This is performance art the whole family will enjoy. You will want to bring the whole family back again and again as the Sandscapes sculptors transform 50 tons of sand into a specially-themed work of art throughout the run of the fair.
  • Drew Exposition: The Great James H. Drew Exposition is even greater this year with the addition of The Barnyard – a new family attraction that ALL ages can enjoy, & later in the year – a new Giant Wheel!
  • New Foods: Several new food vendors will be joining the fair this year, bringing new and exciting food experiences along!!  A few of the new samplings are, cheese curds, mozzarella fingers, cheddar nuggets, chimney cakes, Frozen Bananas, Frozen Cheesecake & Frozen Cappuccino.
  • King and Queen of the Fair: We are so excited to announce the addition of a new special needs beauty pageant.  We will celebrate the 2nd year of this event, which will include Special Populations Night on Tuesday, September 24. 7:30 pm.

TICKETS AND ADMISSION INFORMATION:

Gate Admission: $7 admission. Children 10 and under are free. Ride tickets are $1.25 each, $20 for 21 tickets, $50 for 55 tickets and $100 for 120 tickets. All rides require more than one ticket. Parking is $5.  Concerts FREE with fair admission. ATM machines are located on the midway.

Online advance discount tickets can be purchased for $5, with children 10 and under free. A book of 21 ride tickets can be purchased for only $11, which is 50% off. Go HERE to purchase.

Discount Tickets can be purchased for $3.50, with children 10 and under free - available at all Metro Atlanta O’Reilly Auto Parts stores for the month of September.

$30 Pay-One-Price Ride Specials - on Saturdays, 9/21 and 9/28 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (good till close)
