Every morning we go through the same routine of what to have for breakfast. It never fails that no matter what I prepare the kids are always wanting new things. We are generally a family of water drinkers and rarely partake in any juices. However, once given the opportunity to try the Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca line I was thrilled to be able to toss in a fresh new beverage to the kids that I felt good about serving. They're only lightly sweetened, non-GMO, organic and not overly sugary like most juice options.

As you can see from the label, Santa Cruz Organic isn't filled with unnecessary ingredients that you can't pronounce either.

Simply refreshing and with a light flavor my kids love! I shared it with our Summer Fun Party families at the pool & playground and the kids enjoyed it. Of the three flavors we all tried, Pomegranate, Mango Passionfruit and Grapefruit, I was pleasantly surprised that they liked the Pomegranate the best.

Santa Cruz Agua Fresca juices aren't tart like you might imagine. They all have a very subtle flavor and definitely not sweet as you might suspect with a fruit juice. The light flavor is quite refreshing, especially here where the temps sure are rising quickly. We've hit summer sooner than most areas of the country and having a light beverage alternative to water is a nice change.

I'm also excited to try the Agua Fresca juices to add to our smoothies in the morning. We make ours with fresh frozen strawberries, blueberries, pineapple chunks, chia seeds, fresh spinach, banana, natural peanut butter and of course a bit of liquid....in this case the mango passionfruit juice to thin it out a bit.

Moms-- want a refreshing adult beverage to enjoy poolside? Try the following recipe:

Your favorite Santa Cruz Agua Fresca - I used the Pomegranate
1 oz your favorite Rum
Cubed or crushed ice
Mix and enjoy!

Is that simple enough for you? If not, add a few fresh watermelon chunks!

Santa Cruz Organic products can be found at Whole Foods, Super Target, Publix, Kroger and Walmart stores.
