Sonora Creek’s award winning certified staff of instructors will teach you to ride with confidence in either the Dressage or Hunter/Jumper disciplines. From beginner to advanced or casual to competitive riding, at Sonora Creek the instructors are here for you every step of the way. Providing the encouragement and knowledge you need to help grow as a rider is our main objective. To do this successfully, all of our lesson plans are customized to best fit your individual needs and riding level.

Sonora Creek is a very active show barn and additionally offers a number of clinics at our farm through out the year with some of the best national & international clinicians in the industry. Sonora Creek strives to maintain it’s reputation of as one of Georgia’s top tier riding lesson facilities and cares strongly about helping you achieve your riding goals! Combining the knowledge of other professionals and our own expertise is the best way to insure everyone continues moving forward in their riding abilities!

Lesson Programs
Lessons are based on a Weekly one hour or ½ hour sessions and can be either private or semi-private. Group lessons are available for groups of four or less. * School horses are available*

Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program
Horseback riding for the disabled is recognized as one of the most progressive forms of therapy. The ability to control a horse as well as one’s own body inspires self-confidence, responsibility and teamwork. It creates an enjoyable experience and relationship between rider and horse while providing a personal challenge. A horse’s gait, similar to the human walk, helps strengthen spine and pelvic muscles, improves posture and coordination, and increases joint mobility.
