Movies in the Park™ are free outdoor movie festivals that are held in parks throughout North Atlanta & Georgia all summer long. Locations for the free outdoor movie series include Canton, Dawsonville, Woodstock and Johns Creek / Alpharetta.
From May until December, Southern Outdoor Cinema and Northside Hospital host outdoor movie events on gigantic inflatable movie screens at parks, beaches and charming Southern downtown settings around Atlanta and North Georgia. So grab your blanket and gather your family for a season full of free family fun around Atlanta.

ADMISSION
All events are FREE, thanks to Northside Hospital, Southern Outdoor Cinema and our parks parnters. It's our way of giving back to the community we are a part of.
MOVIE START TIME
Because we don't want your little ones falling sleep during the movie, we start our movies at sundown (which is 30-40 minutes before dark.)
CONCESSIONS
Movie snacks are available for purchase at the events
WHAT TO BRING
- Bring a blanket or low back lawn chair.
- Bug Spray
- Small cooler allowed in all locations by Alpharetta
