Happy Friday Macaroni Momma's!!

Tons going on in this weeks issue! Get comfortable!

By March 10, 2013

This week I'm trying to keep it short but sweet (it may not appear so, as I have tons in here)! I have been tending to a VERY sick 4 yr old all week. He came down with some sort of stomach virus with a vengeance over last weekend and hasn't been able to shake it. He's normally a loving, pretty attached son but this week is magnified by a million with this sickness. He will barely let me leave his side (no complaints here, I love the cuddle time), but it makes it difficult to give my other kids attention, work on Macaroni Kid business or care for the house as needed.

So last weekend, before this ugly sickness reared it's head, my boys and I were fortunate enough to attend Nuclear Cowboyz at Phillips Arena! WOW! is all I can say! We thoroughly enjoyed the show! Opening the show is the introduction of each "tribe" of motorcycle stunt teams comprised of actual X-Games medalists and experience freestylists. The two battling tribes, Metal Mulisha® and Soldiers of Havoc® show how the different "forces" were pitted against each other for "World domination". Each "tribe" of motorcycle stuntmen "battle" with their high flying stunts and tricks to defeat the other tribe and later work together to outsmart The Tempest, the evil temptress, that has her own army of cyborgs in the streets of future L.A! Their electrifying and gravity-defying feats are only amplified by all of the spectacular pyrotechnics! The show is amazingly heart stopping and keeps you on the edge of your seats!

I took my two sons (age 4 and 15) and both were equally engrossed. Quite frankly, I was originally thrilled to take my youngest knowing how much he LOVES motorcycles, but honestly....Mom was just as excited and impressed with the show! There are still dates left that Nuclear Cowboyz are touring the country, so if you know someone in a city Nuclear Cowboyz will be stopping in soon, you should definitely spread the word! It's a show they don't want to miss!

In addition to Nuclear Cowboyz, I hosted the very first Macaroni Kid Baby Brunch party where moms were able to test and sample products from our wonderful sponsor Kolcraft, ExerSaucer®, Bebek, Happy Family and Dr. Smith's! You can read more about the party and all of the amazing products HERE.
