Two Easy Halloween Party Plates

Kids Love Them!

By Tawnya Burket October 18, 2016
Try these two easy and fun dishes for your Halloween party.

Jack-o-lantern made with fruit!
Using a shallow bowl cut up oranges and apple slices and some grapes. Arrange the oranges to shape a jack-o-lantern, the apples as the mouth and the stem, and the grapes for the eyes and nose. It's cute, quick and healthy!

Mummy Dogs!
These are a big hit with kids. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Use your favorite hot dogs and a tube of refrigerated crescent rolls. Unroll the dough, fit the triangles together to make rectangles, then cut into long strips with a pizza cutter. Wrap the dough around the hot dogs, leaving a space at the top for little eyes. Bake for 13 minutes or until dough is golden. Use ketchup, mustard or both to make little eyes for your mummies! (I put the condiments on a plate and used a toothpick to dot the eyes.)

Enjoy!
